Dr L E Cardona-Sanclemente

DSc, PhD, MSc (Ayurveda)

NAMA Ayurvedic Doctor (Professional Member Level)

Dr Eduardo Cardona has been practicing as a therapist for more than 20 years as well as holding a number of distinguished positions at medical schools and in university faculties.

One of the main areas of his teaching and research is the metabolic effects of imbalanced diet and nutrition. He studied in detail the importance, connection and implications of different kind of fats such as the lipoproteins (cholesterol associated molecules i.e. “The Good and The Bad” types) and their potential role in the development of related pathologies such as obesity, hypertension, diabetes, stress and other risk factors of cardiovascular diseases.

With many years of studies and research published in peer reviewed journals, and with his own experience as a patient, Dr Cardona has understood that a main origin of disease is the lack of homeostasis – the lack of balance between the external internal environment, both a cellular and body level, affecting our bodies stability, so well explained in Ayurveda or in integrative medicine.

Dr Cardona’s today’s view is that a combination of the profound and coherent protocols of ancient medicine combined with the existent modern medical technological diagnostic are the instrumental pathway for treating suffering individuals.
