Etudes des facteurs génétiques sur le métabolisme du cholestérol chez des sujets normaux et génétiquement hypercholestérolémiques (absorption, sécrétion interne, urinaires, fécales et transformation en acides biliaires).
Athérogénicité des différentes protéines plasmatiques et leur absorption par les parois artérielles et d'autres tissus.
Rôle des vasopresseurs (adrénaline, noradrénaline, l'oxyde nitrique et les corticostéroïdes) dans l'absorption des protéines potentiellement athérogènes de différents tissus.

Séparation des lipoprotéines plasmatiques, extraction et analyse des enzymes lipases. Genèse de l'athérosclérose dans l'insuffisance rénale chez l'homme.
Etudes du rôle des composés naturels potentiellement anti-athérogènes.
Etudes des effets des composés pharmaceutiques fabriqués par des sociétés telles que Bayer, DuPont-Merck, Pfizer, etc
Etudes des effets de composés naturels tels que l'ail dans le métabolisme du glucose, des triglycérides, du cholestérol et des lipoprotéines.
